Excellent chair , great price
Excellent chair so far and the install went fairly easy one thing that would help , number the wires a to a b to b and so forth . I helped install this for my sister and she loves the chair .

Great self-install stairlift
Saved a lot of money by doing it myself. A little difficult for 1 person but not impossible. The unit works fine and seems durable.

Great stair lift at a great price!
We bought one of these stair lifts for our summer home and liked it so well we bought another for our winter home. The parts of this unit arrived very promptly in 4 boxes weighing around 65lbs each. We opted for custom cut track which was free due to the overall length of track required. That is a work saver, I highly recommend having track and rack gear custom cut by the manufacturer. Directions were clear and concise and the first unit went together well and with a little help from my wife I got it installed, up and running in about 6 hours. It ran perfectly first try including the remote receiver operation. The second unit installation at our winter home gave a little trouble getting upper and lower track sections joined but went together and was installed in roughly the same amount of time and performed perfectly as well. You need 2 people to set the assembled track on the stairs and it is helpful to have an assistant when placing the track mounting brackets on the steps and to guide the wire chain into the track when installing the motor unit. The rest can be handled by one person.

Makes the basement useable for my wife.
I am 81 years old and was able to install it. It works well and we enjoy the fact that we can make use of the basement. Since it is battery powered and is constantly keeping the batteries charged no matter what the position of the carriage, there is no worry about power outages. We like it.
